Overview
Almost nothing in a project like this is hard, but everything is fiddly. Reliable singulation, repeatable sensing, and a gate that does not jam: each problem is small until you stack them.

What I worked on
- Designed a mechanical feeder that singulates one piece at a time.
- Built a simple color-detection station with off-the-shelf sensors.
- Integrated a small servo gate to route each piece into its bin.
- Tuned timing and geometry until the machine ran reliably end-to-end.
